Abstract

This Act concerns biological control of pests in the territory of South Australia. For the purpose of its administration, the Act establishes the South Australian Biological Control Authority (sect. 8). The Act provides for the management of target organisms (Part 2) and of agent organisms (Part 3), for special declarations of target organism and agent organisms (Part 4) and for the release of agent organisms (Part 5). The Act also provides for inquiries and inspections as well as for enforcement of its provisions.
