Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Biocidal Products Act (BGBl. I, No. 105/2000). In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the authorization and registration of biocidal products. The text consists of 9 articles as follows: Biocidal substance list (1); Requirements for placing non-admitted biocidal products on the market (2); Placing for the first time on the market of biocidal products appearing on the relevant list (3); Requirements for placing on the market biocidal products subject to registration (4); Placing on the market for the first time low risk biocidal products admitted in the relevant list (5); Biocidal products containing more than one hazardous substance (6); New biocidal products (7); Old biocidal products unsuited to be placed on the market (8); Implementing European Community legislation (8).One Annex is enclosed.
