The Authority shall be governed by a Board. The Authority shall, among other things: develop and promote Bermuda as a tourist destination; advise the Government on matters relating to travel and tourism; implement the National Tourism Plan; ensure that the development of tourism is appropriate and sustainable given the size, environment, resources and population of Bermuda; and engage in, assist in or promote the improvement of facilities for visitors to Bermuda and the development of Bermuda as a tourist destination. In addition, the Authority may undertake such other functions as the Minister may, by written instrument, authorize.
