Abstract

The present Law lays down provisions relating to the protection, fostering and hunting of wild living animals in the Land of Berlin. Article 1 establishes that game is an essential part of the local environment and as such it has to be conserved as part of the natural general environment. The purpose of the present Law is to: 1) conserve the great variety of wild animals in respect of its natural living basis; 2) protect endangered species; 3) ensure, improve and re-instate, as the case may be,
