Abstract

These Regulations provide rules for the behavior of ships in ports of Belize as regards anchoring, navigation, mooring, equipment of vessels, fire prevention and fighting, storage and handling of explosives and inflammables, etc. All ships and all persons using port facilities shall take every precaution to avoid pollution of the air. It shall be unlawful for any person to deposit, place or discharge into the territorial waters of Belize, any ballast, sanitary sewage, garbage, gaseous liquids or solid matter, oil, or any other specified matters.
