Abstract

These Regulations provide rules for the pilotage of ships in ports of Belize. regulation 3 concerns the licensing of pilots. The Harbour Master may, from time to time, appoint such persons as he may think fit to form a Board for the examination of persons applying for certificates of competency as pilots (reg. 5). Regulation 11 concerns fees for pilotage on the basis of tonnage of the guided vessel. In the event of any dispute as to the tonnage of a vessel the same shall forthwith be referred to the Harbour Master whose decision shall be final.
