Regulation 3 defines the scope of these Regulations. Regulation 4 provides for the establishment of a Veterinary Drugs Control Unit within the Belize Agricultural Health Authority, which shall keep records on manufacture, sale, use of veterinary drugs, veterinary pesticides, animal feed, biological and biotechnological products, and carry out all other function listed in regulation 5 or otherwise serving the purpose of implementing the present Regulations. The Unit shall be headed by the Registrar of veterinary Drugs, Veterinary Pesticides and Animal Feed. There is also established a Veterinary Drug Control Committee under Regulation 7. Part III of these Regulations concerns registration of substances to which they apply. Part IV regulates the sale of veterinary drugs and veterinary pesticides and in particular the labelling of such products. Part V concerns importation of veterinary drugs, etc., whereas Part VI regulations manufacture.
