Abstract

These Regulations require, for commodities from countries specified in the First Schedule, the carrying out of an evaluation for compliance in the exporting country to ensure conformity with Belize’s sanitary and phytosanitary measures. These Measures are made in accordance with the Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (SPS) Agreement of the World Trade Organization. The evaluation procedure of the Belize Agricultural Health Authority is set out in the Second Schedule to these Regulations.
