Abstract

Regulations made by the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and cooperatives, on the recommendations of the Belize Agricultural Health Authority, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 61 of the Belize Agricultural Health Authority Act (No. 47 of 1999). The importation of animals and animal products from countries affected by BSE is prohibited until such countries are confirmed by the relevant authorities to be free from such diseases. These Regulations shall, in the case with inconsistency with other Regulations made under the Animals (diseases and Importation) Act, override inconsistent provisions of such Regulations.
