Abstract

These Regulations make provision for the inspection and control of biological residues in animals intended for slaughter. "Biological residues" means the residue of any substance, including metabolic products; metabolites remaining in the tissues and organs of animals after slaughter as a result of treatment or exposure of the animals to pesticide, herbicide, fungicide, organic or inorganic compound, hormone or hormone like substances, growth promoter, antibiotic, etc. Officers shall be authoriz
