Abstract

This Act makes provision for the control of bee industry and in particular concerns the prevention and control of pests and diseases affecting bees. There shall be in the public service an Inspector of Apiaries who shall be under the control of the Chief Technical Officer (Agriculture). Every apiary shall be registered with the Inspector and owners or manager shall notify the Inspector on the existence of diseases.
