Abstract The present Regulations provide for the enactment of the Animal Products Act. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to the weighing and grading of beef carcasses. The text – consisting of 14 sections deals with the following matters: carcass weighing, document for railgrade settlement, railgrade settlement for subject animals, operational requirements for an operator, duties of a railgrade supervisor, documents to be retained, animal product marking or branding limitations and compliance with director’s requirements.
