Abstract

The present Order is enacted under the Farm Products Agencies Act. The Order lays down provisions relating to beef cattle research, market development and promotion of levies. The text – consisting of 18 sections – deals with the following aspects: interpretation, interprovincial trade, import, review and cessation of effects, repeal and coming into force. Two Schedules are enclosed as follows: Levy Payable by Importer (1); Tariff Item Numbers and Related Levies for Imported Beef Products (2).
