Abstract

Article prescribes the diseases to which the Act applies pursuant to section 1of the Act. The State Agricultural Agency shall act as the Authority in the sense of the Act and may take measures to fight diseases indicated in article 2. Articles 3 to 5 provide for supervisory authorities in counties with significant bee farming activities. Articles 6 to 12 empower the Agency and county officers to declare infected areas and prescribe measures to fight diseases. Remaining articles provide for compensation of damages (arts. 13, 13a, 14), regulation making powers of the Agency, and further regulation of the importation of live bees (arts. 15-17).
