Abstract The present Act lays down provisions relating to beekeeping. No person shall be in possession of bees or beekeeping equipment unless he is registered under this Act as a beekeeper. The Act makes provisions for the application for registration, appointment of inspectors, inspection activities; it also contains provisions on enforcement and penalties. Under the Act, the Lieutenant Governor is empowered to pass appropriate regulations for the implementation of the Act. The text consists of 14 sections.
