Abstract The present Regulations are made under section 13 of the Beaches Act. The Regulations lay down provisions relating to the safeguard of beaches. Section 4 establishes that the the Minister may enter into a management agreement with the owner or occupier of land adjacent to a beach. Section 7 lists activities which are prohibited on a beach, such as remove mineral, fossil, sand, gravel or other object of natural interest. The text consists of 15 sections.
