The management and administration of the Institute shall vest in a Board to be headed by a Director-General. The Institute is bound to comply with the directions given by the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council. The Act provides for appointment of Director-General, Directors and employees of the Institute. The Institute shall have a fund to which money shall be credited from various sources mentioned in the Act. The Institute shall maintain its accounts as prescribed by the government and the same shall be audited. It shall submit to the Government an annual report after every financial year.
