Abstract

This Act provides for the constitution of the Banana (Protection and Quality Control) Authority and provides rules relative to the harvesting, handling, transporting and shipping of bananas. The object of the Act is to ensure a good quality of bananas. All bananas intended for exportation shall be grown, harvested, processed, packed, handled and otherwise dealt with and transported in the manner as prescribed by or under this Act.
