Abstract This Act, consisting of 59 sections divided into seven Chapters, provides for the establishment of the Balochistan Food Authority as a body corporate, having perpetual succession and a common seal, with power to enter into contract, acquire, possess or dispose of property, and may, by its name, sue or is sued. It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Authority, entitled to regulate and monitor the food business in order to ensure provision of safe foodstuff.
