Every person wishing to operate a bakehouse shall apply to the Medical Officer of Health for a certificate which shall be issued only if the Medical Officer of Health is satisfied that the premises specified in the application are fit for use as a bakehouse under the Act and are provided with an adequate water supply. Persons working in a bakehouse shall be registered in accordance with regulation 4. Regulations 5 and 6 provide rules regarding construction and outfitting of bakeries.
