Abstract

This Act makes provision for the planning of the Australian Capital Territory and the management of land in the Territory. The text of this Act consists of 85 sections which are divided into 10 Parts, i.e.: Preliminary (I); Establishment, functions and powers of the Authority (II); The National Capital Plan (III); The Territory Plan (IV); Land Management (V); Constitution and meetings of the Authority (VI); Administration of the Authority (VII); Miscellaneous (VIII); Repeals and amendments (IX); Transitional Provisions (X).
