Abstract

The Order provides for the exemption of low activity radioactive material from the Atomic Energy Act if the activity concentration per unit weight (Bq/gm) does not exceed the standards set in the included Table, that the total effective dose shall not be higher than 10 microsieverts (mSv) per year in spaces where human exposition is ongoing..
