For the purpose of policy and control it establishes the Atomic Energy Board and the National Radiation Protection Authority. The Board shall be principally an advisory and monitoring body whereas the Authority shall grant licences for activities involving radioactive materials. Licence holders shall register radioactive material imported or produced in Namibia with the Authority.
