Assignment of Functions (Minister of Local Government, Public Works and National Housing) Notice, 2018 (S.I. 229 of 2018).

This Notice of the President assigns to the Minister of Local Government, Public Works and National Housing - (a) the administration of the Acts set out in the Schedule; and (b) the functions conferred or imposed on the Minister save to the extent that those functions have not been assigned to some other Minister. The list of Scheduled Acts includes, among other things, the Immovable Property (Prevention of Discrimination) Act, the Provincial Councils and Administration Act, the Regional, Town and Country Planning Act, and the Traditional Leaders Act.
