Abstract This Decision, under the terms of article 166 of the Constitution, recommends to the Government that: 1 - Within the scope of the National Commission to Combat Food Waste (CNCDA) perform the following activities: a) promote the model of the Lisbon Commissariat and Municipal Plan to Combat Food Waste, in close articulation with the National Association of Portuguese Municipalities and the National Parish Association, seeking to foster the creation of a national network to fight against food waste that simultaneously sensitizes and involves civil society organizations, citizens and mayors in this new public policy; b) promote a consumer information campaign on the quality and food safety of products which can be sold at a lower cost, and streamline their marketing at the Public Administrations; c) study criteria to establish the allocation of incentives rewarding environmental sustainability projects that meet the objectives of Agenda 2030, etc. Full text Portuguese Website dre.pt References - Legislation Implements Decision No. 14202-B/2016 creating the National Commission for Combating Food Waste (CNCDA).
