Abstract

This document aims to provide practical guidance to assist the national government, and their competent authority in the design, development, operation, evaluation and improvement of the national food control system. As one of the ASEAN Common Food Control Requirements (ACFCR), the document is an adoption of CAC/GL 82-2013 Principles and guidelines for national food control systems published by the Codex Alimentarius Commission with the modification of the definition for food. The definition for food has been included in order to establish a common interpretation of the scope of application of the principles and guidelines.
