The Regulations also are concerned with the protection of vegetation and the protection of food. The Health Officer may inspect food offered for sale and various requirements regarding persons serving or selling food are prescribed. Regulations 27 to 29 regulate the slaughtering of animals; animals shall be slaughtered in the Council's abattoir. The same regulations regulate the transportation of meat. Other regulations concern water pollution and the cultivation of crops. Full text English
