Abstract

This Order amends the Artificial Insemination of Domestic Animals (Bovine Semen) (Jersey) Order 2008 in article 35. Article 35 provides that a person must not supply bovine semen for the artificial insemination of a bovine animal in Jersey unless the semen has been stored: (a) in an EC storage centre: (i) in Jersey, (ii) in another British Island, or (ii) in another member State; (b) in a domestic storage centre; or (c) in other premises in Jersey approved for the storage of bovine semen by the Minister.
