Abstract

The present Regulation enacts the Animal Health Protection Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the granting of permits. Section 1 establishes that the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food shall issue the following permits: 1) semen collection permit; 2) general insemination permit; 3) semen possession permit. The text consists of 63 sections divided into 7 Parts as follows: Conditions for issuing and renewing permits (I); Semen collection permit (II); Semen delivery (III); General insemination permit (IV); Repealed (V); Semen possession permit (VI); Transitory and final (VII). Eight Schedules are enclosed.
