Abstract

The present Regulation is made under the Water Protection Act. In particular, the Regulation provides for acquatic invasive species which are set out in Schedule A. Section 3 establishes that before placing a watercraft into a water body, a person must inspect the watercraft and a) ensure that the watercraft is free of aquatic invasive species, aquatic plants and mud; and b) remove any standing water from the watercraft and dispose of that water on land so that it does not drain into a water body. The text consists of 28 sections and 3 Schedules.
