For the purpose of the present Regulations “biosecurity measures”, in relation to an aquaculture site, means the measures taken to prevent the entry or escape of disease causing agents; “containment management” means the structures in place, and practices carried out, to contain the fish at an aquaculture site; “Farm Management Plan” means the document required by Section 5 that sets out how the aquaculture licence holder must address issues such as fish health management, environmental monitoring, farm operations and containment management at their aquacultural operation. Section 6 lays down the requirements for such a Plan.
