Abstract

These Regulations prescribe the fees payable in respect of applications for and the grant of aquaculture licences under the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1997 (No. 23). Regulation 3 concerns fees for applications for a shellfish culture licence or finfish culture licence or review of those licences. There shall be paid to the Minister a fee specified in regulation 4 upon the granting of a licence for shellfish or finfish culture on a land based site and thereafter upon each anniversary of the granting, while the licence is in force. Regulation 5 concerns fees for marine based cultures as specified.
