The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 October 2009.
Abstract

This Ordinance lays down provisions relating to health and hygiene provisions for aquatic animals and aquatic products, as well as to the prevention of and fight against certain aquatic animal diseases. The text consists of 36 articles divided into five Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Survey of aquaculture (2); Special provisions on the marketing and transport of aquatic animals (3); Fight against diseases (4); Final and transitional provisions (5). Seven Annexes are enclosed.
