E.18). In particular, the Regulation sets out requirements for submitting a complete environmental compliance approval application. The focus is on generic requirements that shall be applied to all project types. These requirements shall only apply to applicants who are applying for an environmental compliance approval and do not apply to renewable energy approvals, permits to take water, drinking water systems and municipal licensing, or licensing and certification programmes such as pesticides and well drillers. These requirements shall affect applications for the new Environmental Compliance Approval, which replaces the Certificate of Approval program, starting 19 September 2011.
