The purpose of the present Law is to regulate the keeping and breeding of bees including their migration. Apiculture is a part of agriculture and everybody is allowed to practice it. The text – consisting of 11 articles – deals, inter alia, with the following matters: general provisions, erection of beehives, transportation of bees, breeding of bees, use of hazardous pesticides, survey by competent authorities and penalties.
