Section 2 establishes that the Minister may appoint qualified persons as inspectors for the purposes of this Act and the regulations and may appoint an inspector as Provincial Apiarist who shall ensure compliance with the present Act, including, for example, annual registration, rearing queen bees and a prohibiting farmers from spreading substances harmful to bees, particularly when treating fruit trees.
