Abstract

An Ordinance replacing the previous one of 1977 on the same subject to regulate the use of additives with antioxidant effects in foodstuffs. Annex 1 contains an exhaustive list of the substances allowed to prevent the deterioration of foodstuffs by oxidation. Annex 2 lays down the maximum quantity of antioxidant substances allowed for certain foodstuffs. Annex 3 contains general criteria of purity for additives with antioxidant effects. The Ordinance consists of 6 articles and 3 Annexes.
