Abstract

These Regulations, made under the Animals (Diseases and Importation) Act, set out measures to be taken by animal owners and veterinaries for the prevention of spreading of anthrax. Measures include: notification of (suspected) disease; investigations by inspectors; quarantine in infected places; disposal of carcases; cleansing and disinfection; and sterilization of milk to be used for human consumption.
