This Decree entered into force immediately.
Abstract

This Decree applies to the Antarctic defined as the area south of the 60th southern parallel and to activities of: (a) Norwegian citizens; (b) Norwegian legal persons; (c) Norwegian ships and aircrafts; (d) foreigners resident in Norway; (e) and foreigners who are members of or responsible for the organization of expeditions to the Antarctic which are organized in Norway or which depart from Norway directly to the Antarctic (sect. 2).
