Abstract

Paragraph 2 of Article 8 of the Act Governing Food Safety and Sanitation states that food businesses belonging to a category and scale designated by the central competent authority in a public announcement shall meet the regulations on food safety control system. This Announcement, consisting of 5 Articles, is enacted accordingly. The competent authority is the ministry of health and welfare (art.1). The regulations on the “Food Safety Control System (HACCP)” shall be applied to diary food processing sector (art.2).
