Abstract

An applicant for rights of exploitation of mullets must be a Namibian citizen and be resident either in Leuderitz or Walvis Bay depending to which area the application applies. The holder of catching rights shall not fish outside the indicated area and not use any net other than a beach trek-seine. Holders of licences shall furnish catch statistics and pay a levy. Other provisions concern the procedure of application and some other matters. (13 articles)
