Abstract

According to the "Protocol of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China and the Department of Agricultural Cooperation and Farmers' welfare of the Republic of India on the Plant Sanitary Requirements for the Export of Rice from India to China" and relevant Chinese laws and regulations, Indian Basmati and non-basmati rice are allowed to export to China. India's rice exports to China should meet the "Inspection and Quarantine Requirements for Imported Indian Rice" as prescribed in the Annex of this Announcement.
