Abstract The present Act aims to give effect to the Anishinabek Nation Education Agreement and to make consequential amendments to other Acts; Namely, the Privacy Act and the Access to Information Act. According to this document, a participating First Nation may, to the extent provided by the Agreement, make laws respecting education that are applicable on its reserve, as defined in subsection 2.1 of the Indian Act.
