Abstract

This Act provides for the restrictions applied to the slaughter of animals and the consumption of meat as per Sections 2 to 5. Inspections on both animals and meat in slaughter-houses may be conducted by appointed Officers in order to assess compliance with the Act (sect. 6). Offenders shall be fined or serve a term in jail up to six months.
