A Court that: (a) Convicts a person of an offence against section 4 of this Act or subsection (3) of this section; or (b) Convicts of an offence against section 3 of this Act a person who has previously been convicted of an offence against that section or section 4 of this Act, may, in addition to or substitution for any other penalty, disqualify the person, for any period it thinks fit, from having custody or control of, or exercising authority in respect of, the animal, or any animal or animals of a particular kind or description.
