Abstract

This Act defines offences against the health and wellbeing of animals (i.e. any livestock or other domestic animal or bird, or any wild animal, animal, wild bird or reptile which is in captivity or under control of any person) and defines powers of Court and officers of a society for prevention of cruelty to animals in respect of offenders and animals that are subject of offences. It also defines regulation-making powers of the Minister.
