Abstract

These Regulations, made under section 22 of the Animals (Diseases and Imports) Act, prohibit the movement of poultry from or into an infected area without a written permit issued by the Chief Veterinary Officer and in compliance with any conditions or limitations imposed under such permit. Any person who contravenes or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this rule or any of the conditions or limitations imposed under a permit, shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to the penalties prescribed by section 24 of the Act.
