These rules concern the conditions of keeping of domestic, livestock and wild animals, and treatment or killing of animals. They also provide with respect to proper conditions for livestock farming and transportation of animals, the trade in animals, animal competitions and zoos, animal asylums, etc. The persons of the Livestock Breeding Sub-directorate appointed by the Minister are charged with carrying out inspections and supervising compliance with the Animal Welfare Act and the rules laid down in this State Order. The head of the Veterinary Service is charged with issuing, revoking, renewing and amending the veterinary licenses. This Decree also provides for the issuing of veterinary licences.
