Abstract These Regulations, consisting of six sections, establish under the Animal Welfare Act 1993, amended requirements and standards for domestic poultry exploitation. They specify: egg production programmes, cage egg producer, determination of maximum hen capacity, floor area requirements in general, floor area requirements for certain commercial producers, amended requirements for certain commercial producers and infringement notices.
