Abstract This Act consisting of 16 articles aims at protecting animal from cruelty and misbehavior giving instructions for owners and caregivers. The provisions of this Act refer to every place, both public and private, where animals are reserved, detained, or educated or cared or slaughtered. It deals with insuring to the animals proper residence, food, sanitary controls and transport conditions. The public exposition of animals has to be regulated, and subject the animals to scientific experiments is possible only with a permit from the concerned department.
